Communication: Connect Through Conversations

This course highlights that engaging the the business outcome of the conversation is just as critical as recognizing and addressing people’s feelings such as being respected or appreciated.  Much of our work is accomplished through daily conversation with team members and others. These interactions, especially the tough ones, involve certain intangibles that have an impact on the practical outcome of the conversation and the personal connection between the individuals involved.  Through high energy activities, videos, and discussions, participants will learn flexible communication skills that will help them in all types of conversations, centered around moving forward to accomplish business goals.

This course is intended to help participants:

• Conduct conversations that achieve the intended business goals
• Communicate and respond in ways that meet the unique personal needs of team members and others
• Recognize and react to emotions (their own and others’) present in work situations
• Use a technique to provide meaningful, supportive feedback

Upon completing the course, all participants will receive a certificate of completion from DDI .

The training is led by Ami Parekh Fletcher, Director of Human Resources & Communications at Bionique Testing Laboratories.  Ami is a passionate and dedicated leader who has made it her mission to support organizational success through the power of people.   She is a certified DDI (Development Dimensions International) Facilitator offering leadership development classes to community businesses.
